Support Us - Help Practically
Much has been achieved over the recent years through Bridgebuilder Trust. However, the opportunities for developing our ministry, and serving more schools, remains our long-term vision. This means more full or part-time staff, further volunteers and the possibility of a 'Year Out' Team. In order for this to happen, we need the support of churches and individuals.
The Finance Team has also been planning hard – and we face our own special challenges! As well as appealing to local churches, we aim to increase significantly our income from fund-raising. We also have a project to reach out to some of the newer churches in Milton Keynes to encourage them to share in our Christian schools ministry. Bridgebuilder is representing local churches in promoting the Christian faith in MK schools and we are grateful for the ongoing support of our churches.
The Bridgebuilder Team are thrilled at the challenge presented by our ever-increasing population of young people. Please help them to continue their work in our schools, communicating the timeless news of God’s love in an exciting, fun and relevant way. If you would like to receive regular updates from Bridgebuilder, or support us in prayer and/or financially, please contact Gill at the office. You can give on-line through Just Giving.
NEEDED URGENTLY!
More volunteers for our Biblos team.
Every Monday, the Biblos Project is taken into schools in Milton Keynes
by a team of volunteers, headed up by Carolyn Russell, one of our Voluntary
Schools Workers.
Carolyn is in desperate need of more help - are you able to
give a couple of hours to Bridgebuilder on a Monday? It needn't be every Monday,
just whenever you can make it would be good; or you might want to commit
to a regular Monday, or even to every Monday.
If you can help
contact Gill.
Children in our local schools
will benefit from the time you give!
Volunteer Helpers (in Schools)
We have launched a new scheme called Volunteer Helpers (in Schools) – if you would like more information, please contact Gill for some leaflets.
Fundraising
Fundraising events by individuals or groups is another way in which you can practically help Bridgebuilder. Below is one way you can help by purchasing locally made cards for any occasion.
