JesusQuest

JesusQuest is a morning session for Yr 4 pupils which fits in really well with the RE syllabus on the subject of ‘Jesus’. Just as the session starts, an unexpected stranger appears with a time travelling machine. The traveller seems lost and urgently needs to go back in time to get back home. It seems that the only way to get the time machine to work is to feed the computer with information about a famous person from the time traveller’s zone. That person of course is ‘Jesus’. The children then go off in groups to work through several different activities and learn all they can about the life of Jesus. These activities include a cartoon video, a game, a computer based activity and a drama that films one of the pupils as a news reporter and is played back to the rest of the children. The session captures the children’s interest and imagination and is informative and fun.
