Gill (with the help of her weekly volunteers) oversees the administration for our annual projects, co-ordinates internal fundraising events, maintains information systems, assists with and creates communications and provides administrative support to colleagues and trustees.
Gill has worked in a variety of jobs in Central London – her first was in sales at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, and her last as a PA in the Parliamentary Unit at the British Medical Association for eight years.
Gill moved to Milton Keynes in 1998, spending 5 years working at Scripture Union as an administrator within the field ministries team before starting her role at Bridgebuilder in September 2004. In her other life, Gill works for the Wolverton Benefice as administrator for 8 hours a week, and Gill is also part of a small team (headed up by husband, Stephen) who cooks breakfast for 40 plus people on a Saturday morning at her church, alongside being open as a Food Bank outlet. In her spare time, Gill takes care of her chickens, guinea pigs, cat and hamster, as well as teenage daughter Harriet, and loves anything to do with promoting Fair Trade, sustainability and ethical consumerism, and alleviating poverty.
