Fundraising Challenge 2010
15 May 2010
We are hoping to raise at least £5000 for MK Bridgebuilder Trust
by walking The Greensand Ridge.
The Greensand Ridge is Bedfordshire’s premier long distance footpath running from Leighton Buzzard to Gamlingay. All the leaflets relating to the walk give directions for walking west to east. Just to be different we shall be travelling east to west so that we finish nearer home.

Climb
the Eiger Challenge 2009
This year’s challenge was to climb
the 1800m North Face of The Eiger on 16 May 2009.
Impossible you might think, but read on. This was a major climb with a difference. We didn’t have to travel to the Alps! Instead we attempted to make a at least 150 sponsored ascents of the climbing wall at the Caldecotte Centre in Milton Keynes to give a total of 1800 metres - the same as the Eiger North Face.
The day included lots of other activities, entertainment and a barbeque to make the day a real family fun day.
We raised around £4,200 (to
date)
and climbed it 1.5 times!!
"Thank You to everyone who took part and to all who attended or helped on the day".
