The Team

Rosie HarriottRosie Harriott
Rosie is Bridgebuilder’s Team Leader and Secondary Schools Worker. Rosie comes from the Milton Keynes Council Youth Service where she had particular experience with unchurched and disaffected young people, and worked with a range of MK secondary schools. Rosie is a member at Milton Keynes Christian Centre in Oldbrook, where her husband is a Youth Pastor. She also has a degree in Applied Theology and Community Youth work.

Gill BullGill Bull Mott
Gill has worked as Office Manager and Projects Co-ordinator for the Trust since September 2004, having worked previously with Scripture Union for five years.  Gill is part-time, working mainly school hours to fit in with her school age daughter.  Gill’s role at Bridgebuilder is hugely varied – ensuring the smooth running of a busy office, providing support to the schools workers,  administrating projects…and many other things.   Gill finds being Office Manager for the Trust challenging, worthwhile and enjoyable!

Rachel FosterRachel Foster
Rachel is Bridgebuilder's Primary Schools Worker. Rachel has been working part time during the last year for Impact, the Bedford Area Schools Christian Support Trust but is delighted to now have the opportunity to be in schools full time. .
Rachel has over twenty years experience as a Nursery Nurse working mostly in a lower school as part of the foundation team and providing cover for teachers’ non-contact time, mainly teaching RE, Drama, PE, Music and PSHE.

Voluntary Schools Workers
Milton Keynes Bridgebuilder Trust has a small number of people who are willing to offer their time and skills to schools on a voluntary basis. These Voluntary Schools Workers (VSW's) are available to work free of charge in Milton Keynes Schools. The VSWs are formally appointed by the Trust and receive induction training and on-going support, within Bridgebuilder.

Carolyn Russell Carolyn Russell
Carolyn has been a Voluntary Schools Worker since May 2005, and now leads the Biblos project, going into schools with the Biblos team of volunteers to deliver one-hour sessions to children in years 5 and 6.

Carolyn enjoys what she is doing, because it is a great opportunity to be able to work with children, whilst also presenting the gospel, and challenging them with the truth of God’s word.  She feels God  has really used this work to develop her, and has learnt much in the past year.

Linda MorrisLinda Morris
Linda is team leader to the JesusQuest team.  In 2006 she became a Voluntary Schools Worker.  The JQ project began in 1999 as an outreach to the children of Milton Keynes schools for the millennium year.  However, the schools have demanded that the project keeps going with its presentations about Jesus.  JQ takes place once a month on a Thursday, for year 4 children.  Volunteers to the team would typically be from local churches in MK.

Linda was a trustee for Bridgebuilder for 5 years until 2004, and still sits on two of the MKBT sub-groups: the Ministry Development Group and the Promotion and Events Group.
Linda is married to Geoff and they have two children

Anna BaymanAnna Bayman
Anna is married to Alex, and her involvement with Bridgebuilder is as a Voluntary Schools Worker offering mainly assemblies, and some lessons, in primary schools throughout Milton Keynes.  Anna recounts the message of Jesus through Bible stories which, presented on a sketchboard using paints, is a very attractive medium to use. The children never fail to be engrossed in the message and teachers seem delighted too!

Anna currently visits up to 30 schools a term, some more than once.  Anna says it is a real joy to be involved in this work.  Anna has also organised training occasions for others to learn the art and skill of sketchboard painting.

Sketchboarding for me is very challenging…firstly, presenting the Gospel message in simple language for reception class children; secondly, painting whilst talking; thirdly, preparing the pictures with a good sense of perspective and colour tones.

I am very grateful for all the training that I have received from Anna and look forward to the future challenges of meeting many children and their teachers across MK.

Diane MidwinterDiane Midwinter
Diane joined us as Voluntary Schools Worker in September 2008.

"I am very thankful for Anna's training and support, enabling me to take assemblies in a small number of schools, using a sketch board. It is amazing to be able to share God's word so openly in school, and to pray with the children too".

"I hope to be part of the Biblos team from January also".
